De La Costa doesn't have a peer on Navy Pier. At the restaurant, serving modern Latin food, tapas and cerviche can be followed up by Alaskan Halibutt or a beef tenderloin churrasco. Those who want to scarf down their food in private can reserve a private cabana in which to sip their sangria.

Still the grand daddy of the alternative rock festivals, Lollapalooze is now much easier to experince. Last year they introduced the LollaLounge and it is back again for this summer's extravaganza. With comfy seating, private bartenders and food buffets, there is no better way to experience the fun. Runs from August 1-3, 2008.
